2012 Reunion
April 5-8
Ontario, California 

The 475th Fighter Group reunion for 2012 will be in Ontario, California. You do not want to miss this one. The Planes of Fame Air Museum have dedicated their traditional first Sat of April “Living History Flying Day” event exclusively to the 475th Fighter Group and the P-38. All attending 475th veterans will be featured at a seminar to be conducted Saturday morning by the Planes of Fame at Chino. Several hundred spectators are expected where our veterans will be fielding questions, autographing and responding with their stories and experiences.

This reunion will be the last one hosted by an original 475th member as the next generation takes over. The Saturday night banquet will be a walk down memory lane honoring the 475th warriors to include the widows of 475th troops. The evening will be recognition time for all of the actions taken over the years to perpetuate the legacy of our fighter group. This Saturday night presentation will include DVDs by our own Joe Kentz who is putting together a special just for this occasion. We will be going back to the genesis of the founding of the 475th Historical Foundation covering the trials and tribulations we all went through; starting with the small collection of memorabilia in the corner of a restoration hanger at Chino to our current complex and the recognition of all who inaugurated and participated with their labors and funds.

Following the Sunday breakfast we will have wheels available to transport those desiring to attend an Easter service. See the registration form for details.

Make your reservation directly with the hotel identifying yourself as a part of the 475th Fighter Group reunion. We have a certain number of rooms blocked and the cut-off date for accepting reservations into this room block is March 6, 1012. Reservations made after this date will only be accepted on a space and rate availability basis and may not be located in the blocked area. Call early and request cancellation information in the event you find out later that you cannot attend. They have a complementary airport shuttle.
